The idea for the table was initiated by Squire Patton Boggs and ASB GROUP and just perfectly fits with the new award category.
One of the woman joining the table and shortlisted for Leading Female Property Professional is Michaela Semanová, Director of Property Management, Savills in the Czech & Slovak Republics. Michaela Semanová is a property professional with over 20 years’ experience in property and asset management in the Czech Republic. She has headed up a number of property and asset management teams as well as established, run and successfully sold her own property management company.
“While women are still underrepresented in the real estate sector, they have made great strides over the last decade, in particularly in the Czech and Slovak Republics and it’s great to see the industry recognising this with the inaugural Leading Female Property Professional award category at the CIJ Awards,” says Michaela Semanová, director of property management, Savills in the Czech & Slovak Republics. “It’s my pleasure to join the table and I wish all the women shortlisted for the upcoming award ceremony well.”
"Squire Patton Boggs law firm has a long tradition of supporting women. In addition, our Czech-Slovak team responsible for real estate is mostly made up of women, and therefore naturally we try to facilitate networking among women in the industry. In our view, a purely female table for an event such as the CIJ Awards, where mostly men meet each other, is a refreshing development. We are delighted that ASB GROUP has the same opinion, and we look forward to stimulating conversations with those who have accepted an invitation to this table," comments Lenka Nová, Associate at Squire Patton Boggs.
