Snapchat has signed a new lease agreement at the Keizersgracht 440 in Amsterdam. The lease compromises 283 sq m of office space.
Hinda van Galen, Associate Tenant Representation at Savills in the Netherlands, says: “Because of the favourable factors that Amsterdam has to offer, as confirmed in our recent Savills Tech Cities report, more and more tech companies are choosing Amsterdam as their office location. Guerilla games, Adyen and Snapchat, among others, are accommodated in the city centre of Amsterdam. The office location is becoming increasingly important in the war for talent. The choice for Amsterdam can be explained by the highly skilled workforce where English is widely spoken and the great connectivity of the city, within the Netherlands but also to other European countries. Thanks to these favourable factors, we expect that Amsterdam will attract more international tech companies in the future and strengthen its position as a tech hotspot.”
Savills advised Snapchat with Grimaldi Industries advising the landlord.
