Morski Retail Park in Gdansk has signed up five new tenants who will move into a building now under construction as part of the scheme’s extension. The following tenants have signed a lease: Komfort Lazienki (1,500 sq m), Komfort Podlogi (1,450 sq m), Komfort Kuchnie (600 m2) and Nexterio (900 sq m). In addition to that Bel-Pol will take up approximately 700 sq m of retail space. In total more than 5,000 sq m has been leased. Real estate advisory firm Savills acts both as a property manager and as exclusive retail space leasing agent on the park.
Construction of the new building is nearing completion. The stores will open once all the fit-out work on the tenants’ premises have been carried out.
“Once the new tenants have moved in, the retail park will offer a wider choice of products, making the location even stronger retail destination for all kind of customers. They will provide wide range of furnishing articles, including floor and doors as well as products for kitchens and bathrooms. The newly-constructed building is now being commercialised and will soon see more tenants signing up,” says Monika Janczewska-Leja, Head of Retail Advisory & Transactions, Savills.
Morski Retail Park is located in Przywidzka Street in Gdansk, in the immediate vicinity of the Tricity ring-road. Following its extension, its floorspace will increase from the current 24,500 sq m to 41,000 sq m. Current tenants of Morski Park Handlowy include OBI, Carrefour and Jula.
