Sebald sells office building New Delhi in De Meern, the Netherlands

On behalf of Royal Properties Group (RPG), Sebald has sold the vacant office building, New Delphi, located at Rijnzathe 6 in De Meern (Utrecht, the Netherlands), to Van Ettekoven Holding. The building comprises approximately 10,265 sq m and includes 205 parking spaces.

RPG purchased Oracle’s former headquarters at the end of 2015 and the property has been leased to Joulz for more than three years. Juul Derks, Chief Investment Officer at Sebald, says: “The monofunctional area of De Meern benefits from the scarcity of product in the Utrecht office market. We are pleased that we have been able to benefit from the current market sentiment."

Sander van den Engel, Associate Director Utrecht at Savills in the Netherlands, says: “Due to falling vacancy levels in Utrecht, interest in De Meern, in particular Rijnzathe, is increasing; several offices in this area have been sold in the last two years. The sale of the New Delphi office building confirms investors’ increasing interest in offices located in the suburbs, driven by the shortage of supply in the Utrecht office market.”

Seller was advised by Savills. Van Ettekoven was advised by Spring Real Estate.
