Bridges Real Estate, the real estate company of the Vermaat family, has purchased a high-quality office complex located at Storkstraat 8 - 14 in Leusden. The complex, which consists of two office buildings and a large parking garage, is fully let to Achmea.
Centrally located in a green area
The office buildings, which together measure approximately 17,675 m², are located in green surroundings and have a courtyard with a pond. The parking garage comprises 528 places.
The location is centrally located at De Horst business park in Leusden, a stone's throw away from the center of Amersfoort. Due to the proximity of the A28, this location is easily accessible by car. Several bus stops in the area provide a direct connection to Amersfoort train station.
In addition to the current, stable cash flow, this complex has future potential. “We are very proud of this acquisition; it’s the largest office complex purchase for Bridges Real Estate to date. We will further optimise the location through active property management, says Paul Vermaat, founder of Bridges Real Estate.
Reinier Wegman, Director Investments at Savills in the Netherlands, said: “This transaction is a great example of growing investors’ interest in assets located at secondary locations.”
The seller of the complex is a subsidiary of a listed US entity. Savills has supervised the transaction on behalf of the seller. Simmons & Simmons LLP assisted the seller legally.
